    Interesting Liquidation Auction Site!

I was searching local goverment auction sites looking for some furniture and ran into this site

    http://www.liquidation.com/index.html

and found this at $600 currently

    http://cgi.liquidation.com/auction/v...nvertTo=USDand this
POWERMATIC 20" DISC SANDER & POWERMATIC 8" JOINTER POWERMATUC "Model 66" 5 HP 1-PHASE TABLE SAW
Check it out these all seem to be in Texas so its too far for me to drive, but maybe someone might score.

I think history would have been very much different if Leonardi DiVinci had a belt sander.

That is a lot auction - I see the Powermatic sander but I don't see the powermatic jointer or Table saw, but it does include an Incra TS3 table saw precision fence and 26 other items.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

I've been watching these auctions for several weeks to see if I could buy a Hitachi M12V cheaper than on Amazon or eBay. There seem to be several problems. First, unless you live near the merchandise, shipping will kill you. I was looking at freight costs of around $50 each for the routers from New Jersey to California. Second, some bidders apparently don't understand the street prices for what they're buying, so items get bid up to the point where they're no longer a good deal. Third, each lot includes a few things you want and more things you then need to sell off, which takes time and effort.
