Home Depot Shop Vacumn for $20

Home Depot had their six gallon shop vacumn for $25 on black Friday (day after thanksgiving) and I bought my son one for Christmas. When he opened it I was surprised with what he got for the money and sorry I did not get myself one. Now they have the same vacumn for $40 but you also get a $20 Home Depot gift card if you mail in a card you get at Home Depot when you buy the vacumn. You have to wait on the gift card but when it comes your net cost is $20 for a pretty decent shop vac.

Thanks Jim but you should have assumed a bargain like this would be spotted by the keen eyes of your fellow BT3'ers the day those things were put out on display .

See "Rigid Vac" a few posts down. Now if you can find me the new Crafstman 14 inch bandsaw for half price I'd be forever grateful...

I picked one up on monday. It seems like a good little vacuum for the money (39.95 - Plus u get a MIR for a $20 HD card). The little ridgid is much quieter than I expected.

Do you know what the peak power is? The one on sale last Thanksgiving was a 5 HP (peak)

This one is advertised as a 2.5 HP.
They have 12 at the HD at I-10 and Beltway 8 in houston, this morning.
Zero at Hwy 6 so. and 1/2 (incomplete unit missing more than $20 worth of parts in opened box) at I-10 at Fry Rd.

Probably go get one at lunchtime.

I grabbed a 6 gallon vac too. Just noticed the rebate form states "UPC's" (plural). So make sure you cut off both bar codes (one on the top and bottom of the box). May not be necessary, but why risk it?
