I've been very happy with the 1/2" 35-piece set that I got just a few weeks ago.

I've used the roundover bits and some of the straight bits. I don't have much experience with all this so not a lot to compare with but certainly been happy with the results so far.

    Just an example:

And I agree, he was very friendly and easy to deal with which is almost as important as the quality of the bits themselves.

Just ordered a set of the 25 pc 1/4 inch shank bits and had a question about shipping charges. Did anyone else's shipping charges increase from what was quoted in the cart after the order was processed?

I noticed that the shipping for the 36 piece 1/4 set was $6.72 (or so) when I put it in the cart - then it was $11.70-something after I had a hiccup with my credit card. It's probably for the best, tonight's shopping spree needed to come to halt . Maybe a hiccup with the data from UPS?

Oh great! Price goes down before I even get the ones I just ordered. Not complaining though, it's either the post office or the border's slowness, most likely the border's. I gotta say, Brian is the best guy I've had the pleasure to deal with in a VERY long time. had a problem ordering via website, he emailed me about a dozen times trying to straighten it out, then finally called me at home to take my info personally. That is customer service from a long gone era. Very much appreciated, Brian! You'll definitely get my return business and word of mouth.

There are some great deals there.
I plan on getting a few of the speicalized bits.
I got some other bits during the moving sale last year and they were nice.
Does anyone have any experience with the 24pc 1/4 shank set?
I have a friend that is looking for a starter set, and that price is awesome.
I have a craftman set that I am satisified with. so if this is as good or better then he will be happy.

The 1/2" shank set is a GREAT deal! If I didn't already have more bits than I know what to do with, I'd be all over it...
...eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!

I need to stop looking at this site on payday. I ordered the flush trim bit and the pattern bit. He is sold out of the rabbiting set.

I'm having a heck of a lot of fun but is this hobby actually cheaper than a crack habit ? I'm sure enjoying it but I see divorce court and debtor's prison on the horizon........lol

Yep, the same thing happened to me. It was only about a dollar more so no big deal.

Nope, mine was the same. Bought the dovetail set and a couple of individual bits.

just a heads up to ber real easy with these.

finally got around to using one of the bits from the 24pc 1/4" set today(if this is the same orange set).
i just now was using the 1/2" straight bit cutting the "clamp slots" in the ultimate tool station.
maybe i was taking to deep a cut(1/4" or so passes through mdf" or pushed a bit too much at that moment , i dont think so, but the bit cracked in half flush with the 1/4" collet insert on the m12v. man im just glad this wasnt in a router table.
anyhow it went without incident, just dropped out the other side of the dado slot.
think im sticking to 1/2" shanks for now on though!
i ordered more bits last week that will get here soon, that 1/2" shank straight bit set is get soem good use as soon's it arrives`
                                ! .
