I tried calling all of the sears essentials in illinois, and have had no luck, all of them said it wasn't even a number that they carry in stock, but they could order it..... Oh well I tried.....

The NJ store that original poster saw this at does not have any more of these saws.

I think I go back in the morning to get the bandsaw, if I could figure out how to get a 400 pound saw off the back of my pickup first.
Tie the box to the house, pull the truck away...LOL.
          Thanks,
          Pete

Thanks to the original poster, I am the lucky owner of the floor model from the Sears Essentials store mentioned by the original poster. I cannot believe I paid only $240.00 for this great saw. The store clerk was very helpful and told me I could have saved another $10% by charging my purchase to my sears credit card. I declined. I felt a bit guilty when I turned down the extended 5 years warrenty for $80.00. I am going to donate a portion of my good fortune to this great site. My next step is to find a mobile base and some band saw blades.

No - Mine was not new in the box. Mine was a floor display model. The cartons were gone.
