Mike - I'd not really consider moving from your Jet Open base to the CM Closed base as much of an upgrade. Maybe you get an extra 1/4 hp ? I'd guess the tables are the same size and the performance is basically the same.

Now $249
Today at Sears I saw a sign over a floor model 21706 saying it is discontinued and clearance priced at $249, limited availablility. I inferred that it is not just this particular floor model that it is discounted, but remaining stock at all sears stores. Only $49 to go to reach my $200 price point. Hopefully I can find one new in the box somewhere...this particular floor model has the fence attached upside down! Who knows what else they screwed up during assembly.
