    Ken,

Is that a replacement filter cartridge or a kit to convert a bag type DC?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Brian, it's the cannister and the retro kit to convert bags to a cannister system.
The customer reviews explain that it ships in 2 shipments, 1 with the retro kit and another with the cannister

You scooped me by minutes, Ken! I came here only moments after I placed my order. I'll worry about how it fits on my Grizzly 2HP when it arrives.

        Regards,
        Tom
p.s. I saw it on Woodnet, in case anyone wants to read more about it.

I know they are more expensive than bags but just curious why they are better than a 1 micron bag. I haven't had any issues but that is a good deal.

I assume also that will fit my JDS DC which seems to be the same as all the others.

            Tom, we'll worry together.

Ken: Thanks for the tip. Ordered, even though I strongly suspect the price may be a mistake and the order will be cancelled; and

Tom: I don't know how well it'll mate up to my HF 2HP DC. But for $55.11 delivered (including a9 discount), I'll worry about that when it gets here. If it gets here (see above). amazon.com has been known to mis-price items and cancel the order; it once happened to me. But on the off-chance this is a legitimate sale or clearance, I'm in.

Dang Tom, I feel proud! You're hard to beat.

I'll get the sucker on my HF by hook or crook! Worst case is a ply doughnut.
FYI, the customer images under the item on Amazon show the cannister and retro kit that are included.

From the looksof it, no donuts needed.

Disconnect hose from bag unit. Remove the bag stack totally. Replace with the new "separator housing" and add new bag/cannister. Reattach hose and go.

The difficult part for us may be if the DC Separator housing isn't the 5 inch inlet that the Jet has. I thought I read that the HF unit is 6", but I'm not sure.

I just got off the phone with Amazon. (loooong wait)
The lady assured me that the price is correct.

I tried to order but I couldn't get to checkout, they came up with a notice that it's no longer available. Well, that's Amazon.
A while back silverfox mentioned that he had a Jet cannister on his HF DC, I'm not sure if this is the one he's talking about.

Yep, looks like they sold what they had.

The website say "Item is not currently available."

Oh well, I guess if you snooze, you lose.

for those of you that did get an order in, when is the proposed shipping date?

I did get my order in and my shipping date is MArch 27th to April 10th.

                            Just curious who got what!

                            Thanks
