Yeah I've been meaning to post about that table also. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago, but they are backordered till March.
It appears to be the EXACT table that MLCS sells for twice the price (and they claim that 60 bucks is their 'sale' price on the table).
Looking forward to getting mine!
edit: Here is the MLCS one..

WATCH OUT!!
If this table is the same product as I have seen at House of Tools up here, and they usually are, just branded different (CANWOOD) from China, you will probably have to re-drill the mounting holes on the bottom of the base to get them to fit your DP table. The ones I saw here wouldn't fit any brand of the drills on display, even the Canwood drill.
Still a great deal at that price though. Wish we had Grizzly up here.Brian

Attachment should not be a problem!
I took a look at the Drill Press Table in their 2006 Catalog and they show a picture of the bottom of the Table and the method of attachment.
From what I could determine, attachment should NOT be a problem, since the clamping mechanism does not pass thru the table on the drill press, but rather uses a more universal pair of clamping "bars" that clamp the two tables together from outside the Drill Press Table edge.
Shipping on the Item appears to be $9.25, according to Grizzly's web site.Last edited by gmack5; 02-18-2006, 04:30 PM.Stop thinking why you can't and Start thinking how you CAN!

If you go to the Grizzly website, you can see additional photo of the two clamps used to attach the table to the press.
The table should attach easily to any press but the sturdiness of the attachment is questionable.

Work on a Bandsaw?
This seems like a real bargain! But I guess this is their regular price?
It would be really convenient to put "done" next to a "to do" item for so little money and time...
Would this also work on a bandsaw (Jet 14")? I don't see a typical DP cut-out... I could cut the slot easily... I would need to create a tall re-saw fence (once I add a riser kit) for this or any fence...
I am a novice, and I feel like this might be a really lame question, but I ain't never afraid to appear stoopid (good thing, too).Doug Hobkirk

I ordered one, It's cheaper than building one yourself. They're backordered until March they say.
The clamps they show in the catalog are the bent aluminum holddowns usually used on the topside to hold wood. I would think they would shift easily.
What I plan is this: Drill holes from the top and countersink to take 1/4-20 carriage bolts (spaced to be on either side of the metal table), and make some wooden cleats with a lip that would grab the edge of the table for several inches. The height of the cleat to be just less than the height of the metal table and use a couple of 1/4-20 star knobs to clamp them tight to the table using the ends of the carriage bolts thru the cleats.
One think I liked about the slotted table in my previous DP was that I could slide the adjust the position of the wood table in and out. This gave me support for larger objects without taking up a lot of room when I didn't need it.Last edited by LCHIEN; 02-19-2006, 11:27 AM.Loring in Katy, TX USA
