It reminds me of the famous Lowes Delta Frenzy of 2004
This reminds me of the Delta feeding frenzy back in Agust of 2004. I had a great time picking up a few Delta tools in August of 2004 during the the big blow out. I scored the following:
Delta 13" Planer (22-580)
$229
DP350 12" Drill Press
$129
Delta 36-255L 12" TwinLaser Miter Saw
$229
Delta JT-160 6" Bench top Jointer
$129
Delta Bench Grinder
12.95
Lowes has been very good to me as I have also bought the GMC Biscuit Joiner for $40 and now this bandsaw for $129.
Here is a little secret for you. They all have been sealed brand new in the box, as I moved twice in the last two years. I am ready to open them and assemble them all in the next week. I am on vacation! It's like Christmas all over again!
LOL- Merry Christmas...by the way...if you're not needing that planer, umm, I'll buy it. Sweet price! Can't find them now for under 359. Around Christmas time, with discounts, I think Amazon had them for like 310. Almost bought it but my daughter came over that night and proclaimed that she was engaged. So I'm sticking with the Hitachi sales for now. If ya see a guy on the street corner holding a sign that says...will cut wood for food...that's me.
Just scored a CB13F at Lowes in Scottsdale. Last one they had. NIB. Just to let local AZ members know, the Lowes at T-Bird and I-17 still has 3 saws on the shelf. The store on Peoria has 2. Last 5 in the area. Walk in with the printout of the receipt and they will match the $120...NO QUESTIONS ASKED AND NO HESITATION! Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. Thanks again to the first locator of this bargain.
One question before I get reading, does anyone know if the Herc will fit the CB13F stand? If so, I better go get another one of those also!
Jack
Throughout my racing career I was constantly reminded of this: "Keep the pointy end forward and the shiny side up!"
