    Herc-u-lift

On sale at Home Depot 29.00 normally 49.00, if you can find it. The first HD showed 3 in stock but no one could find them, at the second finally found after asking 3 or 4 employees.
If I'd known it was harmless I'd have killed it myself.

      Register tape reads: 648846002293 HERCULIFT+ @ 29.00
RIDGID number is AC9950 for the Herc-U-Lift PLUS. This is adjustable and works for several models. Do not get the AC9920 which is a fixed size only for their tablesaw if I recall correctly.

Don't be confused by the extra zero on their references to the AC9950. I just went to the pro desk, had them type it into the computer and voila! The tool guy said he'd been there a year and never seen any. They HAD 2 on the shelf in the back of the tool corral. Of course, now they don't

One is destined for my new Hitachi CB13F bandsaw!

Will it fit the BT3100 or will you need to modify it to make it fit?

I had one on my BT3100. As I recall (I no longer have it), I relocated the front middle support so that the front of the lift could clear.

My lowes had a stack of these, I picked up one ($29) and got home and had a night of aggrivation with it trying to put it on my Jet TS. For starters, would have been nice had I read the box, as my saw is right at the top on the max weight limit of 300 lbs, and the base on my saw is just too tight for this to work properly, plus, I did not like the part where I had to remove a base brace to give this clearance. I boxed it up and will be taking it back. From what I could tell, a wider base / lighter saw like the BT31 would be a better fit.

oops, should have said "HD" - not lowes ! [:I]

This is a Ridgid mobile base only sold at HD -- I'm betting you meant that when you were thinking about Lowes for some other reason.

Anyway, anyone ever put on one on a Grizzly G0555? I have one on my Ridgid Planer stand and it is a sweet mobile base...

Good deal thanks for the tip. Picked up 3, one for the planer, one for the Bt3 and one for my neighbor's new bt3. Bonus, got to move my HTC to the jointer. Wheels!

Stopped at the local HD yesterday and picked up 2 of the 3 they had in stock. The guy actually found them right away. Were sitting on a shelf in the tablesaw area. He checked the numbers on his computer and then also checked for any at other HD's in the area. Showed 8 at the Chaska store. The one I stopped at was the St. Louis Park store.

Appreciate the heads up on these. Now to try and get it assembled. Looks like some pretty good tips from Rick T in another post on setting up. Going to be my project for Saturday, if we don't get another 7-9' of snow.

Man, you are lucky. There are 3 stores within 20 minutes of me and none of them have any in stock. And only one even has them on order.

One of my local Home Depots just got in some new stock and they had about 8 of them when I was there today. The shelf was marked with a white $29.00 sticker like it's their regular price. I picked one up to use on my jointer but I found out that I need an AC9951 extension kit because the stand is longer than 32". After asking someone in the tool department to check to see if they could get it, I left after 30 minutes because they disappeared and I had to leave. If they are not able to get the extension kit or if it's too expensive, I will probably take it back.

I don't think the Herculift would be suitable for a Jointer in any case. You'd be too likely to tip it.

It comes with instructions on how to attach it to almost every Ridgid stationary tool except the jointer.

It says it is compatible with certain lathes which I would say are similar in length to a jointer. You just need the extension kit. I gotta have something under it to make it more portable because I don't have a dedicated shop. Any suggestions?
