MIKE, ditto re: furniture,thats why im dropping Woodsmith.. i like the other articles in WOOD though, they'll usually have an arts/crafts type piece or wuick turning project.. plus it got me really stuck on that Rikon 18" bandsaw :-D. course i better buy myself another car before i got getting more tools.

Thanks for the tip. I just called a little while ago and they are still honoring the 3 years for $24 price. You just have to tell the computer system that you don't have an account number and get transferred to a real person.

Got the 3yr/$24 deal as well as the free book. It took about twenty minutes on the phone. I mentioned that I heard about the deal on a "forum" and for the next ten minutes the women was asking me where I got the "form". Aside from that mixup, good customer service and a great deal. Thanks again everyone for passing on the bargains.Comment

I hate to bring up an old thread but Wood Magazne is still honoring the 3 for 1 subscription deal. I just called and got it, I was on line going to renew my subscription and saw the bill 2 yrs. for $44.00 I said no-no I am going to call customer service. No argument not a problem!
