    Jet Shopline drill press

My local Costco has the 14" Jet Shopline drill press on sale for $149. This is a 12-speed, 1/3-HP floor model. Has anyone used this model? I know the Shopline is not the same level as regular Jet tools, but for this price and my weekend use, it looks great!

Even with the deal, I'm not sure this one will pass muster with the appropriations committee. [V]

I was at Costco this weekend and picked up one of the these drill presses. Nice unit especially for the money. About what I paid for my Craftsman benchtop drill press a couple years ago. The person I spoke with at Costco said they're selling what's in stock and will not be restocking the item. I had to go to a couple of Costcos here in Central Calif to find one. It's a floor standing unit weighing about 150Lbs with a 5/8" chuck.

Thanks, Scarman. I did end up getting one about two weeks after my original post. I don't have a dial indicator to measure the runout, but it appears to be strong, solid, and as accurate as I need.
