How much snow did we get?

Here is my snow measurement failure. I wanted to be able to see how much snow was accumulating throughout the storm. Since we are on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi and it is always windy, and was exceptionally windy during the storm, the snow all blew away. Measured snow at my ruler is about 1/8"



On the other side of the house, out of the wind, we got about 14" of heavy wet snow and my snowblower struggled with it but got it cleared yesterday afternoon once the snowfall started tapering off. About three more inches fell after that so 17" total for this storm.

I don't envy you! Snow is pretty; Snow Ice Cream is good once a year; but other than that I like it a little warmer, just not HOT!
