    Missing 10 mm sockets?

Apparently this is real, not a April fool joke.
Harbor Freight has a complete set of 10 mm sockets with every drive size to fill out your tool box's lost sockets.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

WHat the world needs is a 9mm to 10 mm socket converter then we can use all those useless 9 mm sockets in place of the missing 10 mm sockets.

Has anyone actually ever encountered a 9 mm nut?

If you often lose 10mm sockets, consider buying a spare set or marking them for easy identification. In addition, maintaining a clear tool organization system also helps to minimize this loss.

[If you often lose 10mm sockets, consider buying a spare set or marking them for easy identification]. That is what the original post is about and, why HF offers a whole set. I haven't checked, but in all probability the size 10mm is the most used and therefore the most lost - kinda like the most used letter in the English alphabet is the "E".

ID:	861113 It is so bad, this picture is from one of the 3d printing sites and seems to be a common thing for mechanics with 3d printers.

And I haven't visited this site in a long time. In the last decade my woodworking went down to almost nothing, while my employers were both having medical issues (my hours went way up), then one died, and I ended up with yet more responsibilities while helping with the estate (during covid) and three years of a lot of that junk, followed by becoming an owner of the business (more headaches). then the other brother wrecked and has been out ever since, while I had been working 7 days a week, while fighting cancer.
Haven't working in a month now, and find out next week, but based on symptoms, I believe I am losing the battle and don't expect to live a lot longer.

So thank you all for all the years, idea's, advice, inspiration, etc. that this site has provided me. If I get lucky and beat it, I expect I will be back in the future with probably the portable Sawstop (owning a business, can't afford to lose my fingers, time off, etc. plus much smaller projects anymore).
      Until then...............

L-R, it's hard to hear of all the tribulations, for me, having to give up my hobbies would be a sad thing.
We miss your presence here and hope you can spend more time with us; with modern cell phones it's easy to keep in touch even when away fro a computer.

Hope you beat the cancer problems, it seems a lot of people are these days. Make the time you have, if its limited, for you instead of others.
