    Lumber Prices...

The local plywood dealer that sells practically every type of plywood available has raised their prices by 25% for any product imported from Canada (nearly everything). Can't wait to see what 84 Lumber & Carter Lumber do.

It’s tough when prices on materials like plywood rise so sharply, especially with so many products imported from Canada. As for furniture, it’s true that costs are going up too.

Considering their current inventory was probably purchased prior to the tariff, I think they are jumping the gun a bit with this price increase.

It's also a bit of gouging. The tariff would be on the wholesale price. With typical retail markup of 4x on raw materials cost then just the cost of the tariff should be more like 6% increase

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
