    A little more humor

    This Amazon listing could have made Jay Leno's "Headlines" jokes:
    Powermatic PM1000 Cabinet Saw that is "Hand Powered"

    Yup, the initial product description includes the line:
    Power Source Hand Powered

    Normally the PM1000 is a 1.75 HP table saw wired for 120 volt AC power... I've seen historic examples of foot/treadle powered table saws (on Roy Underhill's Woodwright's Shop TV show) but never a hand powered table saw. I do have several hand powered hand saws though...

          My dad actually had one of these, he received its a gag gift. The idea was that you plugged it in, then shook the hammer in your hand so it looked powered
