    Hank, you can disassemble the spring loaded chuck and remove the spring... I did for one of my DP. put the spring back in before i sold it.

      Thanks Loring. I had not taken the time to notice. But, since I now that the magnetic bowl I have two without the spring that work great! I will inspect the spring loaded key and do just that.
