    Yeti Coolers

I'm in the market for a new cooler and the Yeti Tundra 45 looks to fit my needs but the retail price is prohibitive.

There was a posting quite some time back from someone that got a blemished Yeti cooler at a great price. A search doesn't show any results.

Since I am in the area where Yeti is made, I would like to find out more about the deal.

On this side of the desert they give away Yetti coolers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, with the purchase of a Dodge pickum up truck. You are right, that is a lot of $$ for a dang ice chest. You would have to chain it down really good or someone would steal it. Have you checked out the Igloo Yukon Cold Lockers that are Igloos response to Yetti? I think they are somewhat less expesive than Yetti. You could make your own "Yetti". I removed a 160 quart Igloo that was old and nasty out of my salt water boat and cut in sheets of 2" hard roofing insulation board and dropped in a 120 quart marine Igloo cooler that was suppose to hold ice for 3 days. It would hold ice for nearly 1 week.

Well - I don't need to purchase a Dodge Truck. I just checked my local CL ---- and I can get a free YETI ----- with the purchase of a $2500 pontoon river raft.

Seriously, though ---- my local Cabelas usually has blemished coolers (Colemans) a couple of times each year.

Might want to check Bass Pro.
