    Did a year in Keflavik, Iceland. There was a fish drying plant down wind of the base that smelled like a crematorium. Easy to spot the newbies on base. Took about a month and a half to get used to the smell from 'Mama Kef'!

        Got my only letter to Santa today. Little girl had put 'To Santa' near the top of the envelope and her name and address in the middle so the machine routed to her house. I mixed it in with the other mail in case she opened the door. Slid it out so mom could see what it was and asked her if she wanted to see what her daughter had asked Santa for while there was still some shopping time left.
