        Don,
You guys are way too nice for this bad stuff.
If you don't mind Hebrew, you got a bunch of prayers coming your way tomorrow night.

Spent about 4 hours with Ginger today. The staff is treating her great. She found out that she could have her own clothes and had me bring her scrubs down with me as well as her favorite coat. She is going to try to quit smoking as soon as the Chantix that the doctor ordered for both of us. (Insurance pays 100%) In the mean time she is allowed to go outside to smoke. I had left her less that half a pack on Friday and she still had some left today.

There is a chair in the room that converts to a twin bed and immediate family can spend the night any time. Additionally, if I am going to be there during a meal time, she lets the staff know and a complementary tray is sent up for me. If lunch today is typical, the food is better than normal hospital fare. Had a ham slice, green beans, and baked red potatoes and it was delicious. The only drawback was it matched her diabetic diet but I can handle that.

Her only complaint is the TV. It is about a 19" flat screen mounted high in the corner and she has trouble seeing it even after they turned her bed and moved it a little closer. There is also something wrong with it. I was watching football today and the yard lines were curved, almost like a mild fish eye lens effect. They are going to have maintenance look at it tomorrow but I have a better solution. Best Buy has a 32" Insignia 720P LED on sale for $170 that gets 4.3 of 5 reviews. Her birthday is the 4th so I am going to take her present to her early when I go see her on Tuesday.

                              Don,
prayers rolling in from Buffalo also! Glad to hear things are a little better and that the staff (and food!) are top notch. That TV will be a great gift - no doubt! Hope you are both home soon watching it.
