I'd look up the 5th word but I don't really feel like it.

Somehow it reminds me of one of my old bosses!

One of my collegues described hime by saying, "Some people have 20 years of experience, but there's a guy who only had one, and he has forced us to follow it for the last 20 years!"

that is incorrect. it's a P.O.V. The blonde could easily say the same about you, if she knew what ignorant and apathetic meant.

Blondes (may) have a great deal of knowledge about: Clothes, makeup, hair, jewelry, etc. Things that you might be ignorant or apathetic about.

What they may be ignorant or apathetic about are woodworking, cars, computers, politics, sports, etc. things that you might be informed and interested in.

                    Exactly.

What would an assumption like that be based on? IMO, it's a generalization that blondes as a group have a great deal of knowledge of those things, or anything for that matter. It may be fair to say that some, but not all have a great deal of knowledge about those things.

To say that I might be ignorant and/or apathetic about those things, is also an assumptive generalization. I will say that over the years of being single and an ardent dater, and been married three times, I've done some research into what I bought and bestowed upon the women in my life. So, while I may not be up-to-date on the latest fashions, I'm not devoid of my exposure to them watching my loved ones trying on outfit after outfit, and then parading in front of a mirror.

Interestingly, I get asked quite frequently "What should I wear?", as several outfits are laid out to pick from. As for jewelry, I had a sideline jewelry business set up for one of my wives, and spent close to a year getting educated in that field. So, as a general statement about a blondes' knowledge, it may be true or not. I will say they do have the propensity to have an ignorant and apathetic male spend their money on it.

Again, an assumptive generalization. I wouldn't group blondes as being ignorant or apathetic about those things. I've been with my present wife over twenty years (she is a blonde). I will say that she most likely has more woodworking shop time than most members on this forum. She doesn't fit the "blonde" profile. She was Phi Beta Kappa, with a science and computer background. Unlike me, she follows baseball and football, knows the teams and players. I'm a participant in non professional auto racing , and she follows motor sports. She has favorite road courses, likes DTM's, BTCC, F1, knows the cars and the drivers. And, she can cook. And, if I'm ignorant about something, she will inform me. If I'm apathetic...I won't ever hear the end of it.

Whatever, you made the first assumptive generalization:

Now that you mention it, it appears that I did. Hopefully (if my wife reads this), clears up any doubt that my wife was included.
