Most of my big shop equipment that came from Harbor Freight was purchased on sale, using a 20% (and in one case a 25% off) coupon. I highly doubt I would have bought HF had it not been for the combo of discounts.
I have had them refuse to take the coupon on certain sale items, usually things that are reduces freakishly low such as the $9.00 sale price on the purple HVLP guns etc...
At this point in my shop, there is little I want from HF. A couple of automtive specific tools (heavy duty high lift floor jack, and heavy duty jack stands), the 50' air hose reel, and maybe the double bevel 12" sliding CMS. The rest is just consumables...
