So I watched it to the end to see how they stop but the video ended before he came to a stop. What do they do... a pile of mattresses (LOL)?Loring in Katy, TX USA

A nice long ride. A unique track, with some very sharp turns. Video ended too soon. Click on the bike race after the roller coaster...even crazier.Comment

I paused the video at the end to study the stopping mechanism. It looks to me like the track flattens out or has a slight rise and loops around. My guess is that they have a braking mechanism something like a regular roller coaster - probably just flatten or expand the tube track to increase friction.--------------------------------------------------

That is impressive! That's a LONG way down. Can you imagine being a hiker and have that thing wiz past? I need to find a pic of the car. I'm not picturing how it's attached to that single rail.
We vacationed at Deep Creek Lake last summer. I rode the Wisp Mountain Coaster. This was a two seater (I went alone) and rode on a beefier double railed track. You sit in the coaster and are pulled up to the top with a chain and then released. The operator said it wasn't necessary to use the hand brake. Yeah, right! Great fun, but nothing like this Austrian one.Comment

Looks like fun but other views of the same slide look quite a bit more "leisurely":
