How I Solved The Camera Phone Problem

I spent a few hours with an older camera phone in an attempt to transfer pictures to my computer. The agonizing frustrations were in this thread.

So, yesterday, my wife talked me into getting a new phone. I picked out an iPhone4. It's some piece of equipment. Got a lot of goodies. Picture transfer is so easy I can even do it.

I do have a few questions. If I want to post on a forum, I'm guessing I may need an app of some sort. Is there a way to do a copy/paste? Is there a left click/right click capability?

    TIA.

    Hi CM

For forum posting I use Tapatalk ... it's not free but works well ... I use the Android version but here is a link to the iOS version => Tapatalk for iOS

Not all fora are Tapatalk enabled ... happily a year or so ago the admins made BT3Central enabled.

      Cab man

You are on a slippery slop. I have a iPone 4s and it is great. Wife a iPhone4 and a ipad. She bought me a ipad mini for our anniversary so now I am so teched out I spend to much time playing. Love have audio books and music that I can transfer between the phone an pad. Almost to the point of not needing camera or the Laptop or desktop. I have found that the mini is easier on my old eyes that the Iphone. Now I a going to have to build a charging station for all our electronics. Have fun and the phone an pad do take great pictures there is an app so I can print off both the phone and pad right to my HP printer.

        Cab Man,

Congratulations on entering the Apple universe from a former director of customer service for Apple. I was genetically altered to be compelled to purchase all new Apple products upon release ... and pay full retail for them as well.

It really is a nice phone even if you haven't had their kool-aid yet.

Perhaps I just don't know what I'm doing, but I have have absolutely no luck here, with copy and paste. I can do that on the Ridgid forum, as I think they have the capacity to store the photos. That may not be the case here.

So for the BT3 forum, I use a free account on photobucket.com

There you have to upload the image from your device (in my case, the laptop) where it is stored in your album. You click on the photo image, and it gives you a link with the tags "img" before and after the address line. You then paste that into the window space provided here under "insert and image"... and then you have to edit out the "img" leaving the rest of the line.

Seems a bit complex, but I don't know of any other way to post an image here. I'm interested in anyone's clue as to how to make this better!

I was referring to if it can be done with using the phone to post.
