Working today, but I plan on having some "Crawfish Soup", for my birthday meal this evening. It is a spicy cajun "soup" more like a stew. DELICIOUS and RICH. LOML is from New Orleans, so REAL Cajun food is her forte! And Pecan pie! There are many recipes for pecan pie and a slight difference in each, but LOML makes it "perfect" for my taste! I never get tired of pecan pie or Crawfish soup, although I only get both about once or twice a year! LOML usually makes enough crawfish soup to last for three days (kinda like making Cajun "gumbo").

Tomorrow, we will eat out. We both have doctor's appointments in Memphis, so we will have a good time there.

I already have my presents!

I know or have known 12 people personally that have Jan 8 as their birthday. 2 cousins, my best childhood friend, two fellow missionaries in Japan, my Japanese language teacher, a couple of church members in Japan, two other people from my small home town and two other accquaintaces that I have kept in contact over the years. This doesn't count "Elvis"!
(3 of those people are now deceased.)
