As I continue cleaning out the garage, I looked at my first foray into serious woodworking, constructing a router table! It was disassembled and I was deciding what to do with it. I needed the table at the time to safely route the edges of a cornice box I was building.

For the life of me I don't understand how I missed that big x when drilling the holes for the lags to lock the mortise and tenons on the stretchers....

I found in pencil the date it was assembled, 8/2003! I think maybe I will cut the lower portions of the legs off, a couple of inches below the stretcher and save it as an assembly table/kids woodworking table. Hard to throw away projects!!
What would you do?
