Looks like the TS is going to pick up steam and catch South Florida. Good luck C'man and good luck to all you Floridians.

Thanks Richard. The forecast cone appears to have its east side edge skimming along the west coast of Florida. Even so, the wind/rain bands come in intervals and do a whomping while they pass. Its really weird...there can be absolute silence with not a drizzle, and then all of a sudden the rain hits with huge drops like a fire hose is letting go. The wind comes in fast drifts I'm guessing at about 50+ MPH according to my wind speed meter (wet finger in the air).

Their callin for 6-8 inches of rain up here, while we need it I never look forward to lots of heavy weather if it has the possibility of spawning Tornadoes and the like. I'm quite sure Stytooner is battin down the hatches as well

Stytooner, you and C'man, keep all that wind down your way - me and Tommy don't want it up here.

Okay boys and girls, time for us along the gulf coast to hang on to our hats again... Anyone in the path of this thing, make sure you are ready to deal with the aftermath! I am praying it loses steam soon!
