    I would prefer laser as well, but 11x17 laser is expensive, especially in color. My old HP 2100se laser is still going strong, it's even on the network now with a jet-direct card I pulled from a worn out plotter.

    I've gone through almost half a dozen hp inkjets in the same time too, plus a cheapo epson. HP's lasers and large format plotters are pretty good. Their small inkjets are pretty weak, as wll as HP computers and laptops.

      Only time I use any Norton/Symantec product is when it's forced onto me at work. They tend to work on their software until it's broken. Haven't had good things to say about them for over 10 years now.

      BTW: We use several of their products at my current employer...their business/government support sucks just as bad as their home user support.
