Ketchup/Catsup Inverted Bottles

Ketchup/Catsup Inverted Bottles- you know , the ones you see standing on their fat caps.

These are the greatest for recycle use, because their unique cap design means that they won't leak if the cap is left open and they tip over- unlike other squeeze type bottles (think Mustard). The only way they release their contents is after a deliberate squeeze.

I buy cooking oil, vinegar, in gallon containers and pour it in these smaller bottles.

My Chain Saw-Blade Oil is in one.

Rubbing Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Mouthwash, are in them.

Salad dressings, BBQ sauces.


The uses are endless.

Dog Shampoo-

another great use. Many times I had the regular bottle tip over while fussing with a squirming dog and lost a good amount.

No more with these "Oops-Free" bottles !

Just Open Mouth, Aim, And Squirt- Same as for mouthwash-no glass needed, plus you could freeze the Margaritas, then let them thaw in the sun until Slurpee density. Oh Yeah !!!

A Suggestion

With all the Creative Minds we have here, how about a runnung thread of all the possible uses- like the frozen drinks cum slurpees that you can enjoy lying on your back at the beach without ever sitting up!

My only opposition is that the top has to be flipped open, used, and then closed, instead of just picking it up and squeezing (like TB bottles).

That's what my first thought was... I actually like ketchup a lot but it takes us many, many months to go thru a bottle.

AFter that, since they all look alike, I'd be mixing up cooking oil, vinegar, Chain Saw-Blade Oil, Rubbing Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Mouthwash, Salad dressings, & BBQ sauces. That wouldn't be good!

Bottles that appear alike with different contents can be labeled. That would keep them from getting mixed up.

All my bottles are labeled with a "Sharpie".

Come on that's a no-brainer- who wants to get the Margaritas mixed up with the frozen Daiquiris ?

I guess I consume one bottle's worth in about two- three weeks. I certainly would not keep one going for "many months"- you might have to contact NASA, about your discovery of new Life Forms.

Yeah, but that cap keeps it cleaner and its no more trouble than a SS Booze Flask.

UPDATE: I did see a Mustard Bottle with the same design, but since I boycott that brand, no sale.

I think that comment came from my mentioning a "TB bottle", which was to mean a "Titebond bottle".
