It's about 4:15 PM. So far, so good here. Several injuries and much damage about 10 miles north. Tornado watch has been extended until 11 PM and the wind is beginning to pick up. Hope things are okay for you in Atlanta, Tommy. I saw where the peak danger for Atlanta is between 11 PM and 3 AM. But the possibility of tornadoes is much less for you. Let's pray that this thing passes with few injuries and no deaths. Talk to you'all on the other side of the storms.Richard -

The same system is heading up this way although it will hit us in straight line winds instead of twisty ones. Everything has been battened down. Perhaps a stroll in the morning will yield a few pen blanks. From the "deep south" part of Canada

Got a tornado coming straight for us, about 45-60 minutes away.Comment

Went just south of us, where I used to live about ten years ago. Not more than three or four miles. You've got incoming now.Comment

We are fine, hit west about 9 miles in Euharlee, But the night is young, like I said before look west towards Alabama on that weather radar map and see what alls coming in thru the night, be an upndowner. Hopefully it will cool down enough to just be a hard rain, perfect as I just put down premergent today around noon

grew up just south of the Red River. Saw lots of them, up to and including an F-5. No way to run, just hunker down and ride it out.Don, aka Pappy,

Same here in Florida. Weather gathering information and reporting over the lat 20 years has improved immensely. Before that, there was very little warning or specific details. At least now we have some time to plan and get ready.

Saturday Morning - many homes damaged in the Chattanooga vicinity. Thank God (and I say that religiously) no one died. In my neighborhood, there was no damage at all. About four miles from me, a road I often travel was closed and much damage to neighborhoods a couple miles beyond that. Hope that everyone else on this board is okay. Think we should ask for a roll call considering all the states involved. Hopefully, everyone made it through.RichardComment

My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the weather. I think that is why I still live in California in spite of the political climate and the leadership. We have boring weather compared to other states. An occasional Earthquake but otherwise pretty quiet. I can't beleive the distruction and how you all can deal with it every year. Our sever weather doesn't even come close to other parts of the country.
