I guess he's decided to move into his basement. I like the idea, but I think I could've dug it all out by hand faster.

I'd say the model building is outstanding, but using them to dig an entire basement under and existing house, that's strange. Based on the videos it takes about 7-8 minutes to load about a shovel full of dirt. I just don't get it.

You got to consider the scale: at 1:10 that would be 9000 cubic feet.. (10^3).
