Too bad, was hoping this might support CNC with a dremel or trim router. But I am l in line to order a Shapeoko CNC when he finishes the kickstarter shipments. At $330 this is an incredible deal and very easy entry point into CNC. I won't be encroaching on Woodpecker's business with this, but I will be able to do some precision work in wood and learn the CAD/CAM workflow.

A machine like the one you ordered might actually do a little cutting. Think PCB and engraving. Much more than that and you will see that the belts will give under the stress of cutting. There are more forces to consider in a cutting machine. Even with new sharp cutters, the forces are still there. Those forces can be lessened with a high speed spindle to a degree if you are just taking skim cuts, but I wouldn't recommend it on anything but the softest material.

A CNC cutting machine is only as good as it's weakest link. These little machines have a few of those.
