    My Other Hobby

This weekend was a milestone of sorts for my other hobby--fiction writing. My novel, FALL EAGLE ONE, is now up and running on Kindle through Amazon.com. Anyone interested in WWII fiction about the German Luftwaffe or Allied code-breaking at Bletchly Park in Britain are invited to take a look.

Congrats! I have been working on a Heinlein inspired piece of Sci Fi for a few years now. Just an on and off as the muse strikes me kind of thing... I wouldn't even hope to go as fancy as publishing on anything beyond a personal web page...

Warren, are you going to have this book out

in paper? From what I read in the "Product Description", your writing is goin' be a great read. If for no other reason, I will have to get the Kindle to read this drama on the edge of your seat!!!
Thanks for posting this at the Amazon site.
BTW, for those looking, I took the liberty to paste the site hear. Is that alright with you Warren? If not I'll edit it out.

Just so you know, the Kindle software is free to download on just about any kind of device you have, including a PC.

Will have to check it out!

            My Other Hobby

For RAFlorida--I first tried the traditional way to get my book published. I got an agent, rewrote it three times at his recommendations, and he sent it off to publishers. Unfortunately, this was early 2002, and publishers had little enthusiam for a book about a foreign attack air on the U.S. I am exploring publishing FALL EAGLE ONE on CreateSpace, a print-on-demand service associated with Amazon.com. That appears to be much more involved than Kindle, so it may take a few weeks. I appreciate your posting the link. Leave it up.

For Rod, thanks for buying my work. Hope you really enjoy it.

I don't know all of the particulars, but a lot of self publishing writers use smashwords.com. If you haven't already, they may be worth checking out.

Any plans to release this through B&N for Nook users?

                    Couldn't wait for Xmas...

What a great read Fantastic blend of Fact and Fiction.

Clearly a HEAP of research went into this

The technical detail is meticulous and all of the characters well defined and "real".

                    Well done, Warren.

Thanks, Rod. I'm glad you enjoyed FALL EAGLE ONE.

It would be a big favor to me if you would evaluate the book on Amazon for me.

                      Thanks, Warren
