Funny Or Weird Pet Habits

If you have a pet of any kind, there is likely something they do that can make you laugh, or is just amazing.

One of our German Shepherds will fart, and turn around and look at her butt. Sometimes it scares her and if she is standing or walking she will whip around to see what's back there.

Must be a shepherd thing cman as mine does the same. It's funny as all get out. She also likes to back up to the couch and sit her butt down with all four feet still on the floor. My mum always gets a kick out of that.

One of our dogs, Buster the cocker will always go around in a circle 3 times before takin a leak after smellin a spot to do so.I on the other hand only go around once

My cat sits on the toilet and reads the newspaper while smoking a cigarette when he does his duty.

We have a little Yorkie. Whenever we are going out, we tell him that we will be back. When he hears the word "back", he rolls over onto his back and puts his legs and feet into the air.

The odd thing is, the last one we had did the same thing. It isn't something that we taught either of them.

Our two Alaskan Malamutes (which we had to say goodbye to this summer due to their health issues) had a number of funny habits. The girl would fart loudly and frequently but never acknowledge it (wasn't me!). The boy would always look at his but in wonder when he farted. He also liked to watch bugs crawling by him. But he hated the "jumpy bugs" that would jump on him. He'd jump up and look around all upset! We miss em.

We put a stop to one of our cats doing that. There's no smoking in the house, and she used entirely too much toilet paper. If yours still does that, snap a picture and post it. Should be easy...cats aren't shy.

Funny. When I was a kid we had a female Shepherd that also did the fart, then "who's back there?" thing.

We used to have puddles of water in front of the fridge and I couldn't for the life of me figure out where they were coming from. It turns out that Frank the dog, beagle, sheltie, terrier mutt, figured out how to get water or ice out of the refrigerator I caught him standing on his hind legs licking at the stream of water while his front foot was on the paddle. Our fridge doesn't have a lockout so I shut the water off to the fridge about 5 years ago.
