In the 70's my friend went to India. He brought me a beautiful carved box. The detail was very intricate. He told me that he watched the seller make it. He used a piece of wood as a mallet and the tools were sharpened 16d nails.

The man has more talent in his right foot than.... WOW! An we need how many assorted chisels to do all that? One large chisel and he is able to sculpt concaves, roundovers and at one point in the video a captured ring! Very impressive indeed. Made me wonder, with the skill this man has, why he hasnt put this operation on a table and adapt a treadle so that he can shape with both of his hands. Although his foot seemed quite dactile, being able to comfortably turn with your eyes closer could only augment what he already does so well. Kudos unknown sir.
