Steve Gass puts his finger into a running SawStop

Say what you want about Steve Gass and SawStop, here is a video of him putting his finger into the running saw. I know that I wouldn't do that on purpose.

Video does a nice job of showing how all that energy is absorbed by the consumable parts.

This is just an OOOOOOO look he did it! Not an endorsement.

As I was working from memory, it could be anything I'll stand corrected.

I'm not crazy about some of the things he does, but there's no denying that his product works.

The guy is definitely committed to his product. There are also links to prototype Sawstop bandsaw and chop saw videos as well on that page, although the chop saw is really a jump saw.

This old guy's product doesn't ruin the blade and is probably a whole lot cheaper too...
