Most people that I have met that are, uh, extreme with the health food kick usually are the least healthy people you can meet... Not saying there is a correlation, but then again, does anyone else remember who Jim Fixx was?

To heck with it, give me a steak, some bourbon, and a cigar STAT!

LOML tries to get me to eat healthy. Why can't they just make healthy food better tasting.

My wife has periodically gone on health food kicks and it drives me nuts. Oat bran, fish oil, etc. I've done just fine avoiding MacDonalds, KFC and junk food. My blood pressure is on the high side of normal and my cholesterol and lipids are OK, if not great, but I'll live long enough and still get to enjoy life.

Genes probably have more to do with the difference in appearance for those women than diet does, but I also think the key to healthy living is not eating too much of the really bad stuff and get exercise. Or put another way, use common sense.
