Another use for old circular saw blades

    http://dvice.com/archives/2011/05/wooden-slingsho.php

How many ways can you kill a zombie? With a shotgun, an axe and a machete? How about shooting deadly circular sawblades into its face?

I wonder how his testing went to get his final product to work. Maybe that's how he lost his hair.

if you sharp-eyed guys noticed, his rotation is the wrong way for max damage - maybe that's what he intended. To me you don't slingshot sawblades without wanting to inflict damage. If you just want to play, shoot water balloons.
Also, looks pretty hazardous, his fore-grip location. Accidentally wrap your hand around that member and zingo!

I wonder if a blade contact injury from it would end up in the 'other' stats on the CPSC injury data surveys?

Do you think OSHA has approved all this? Any environmental impact studies?

But I have. As a sci-fi fan, at first the zombie movies tweaked my interest, but now there are way too many of them. Maybe we could find a way to have all of those warewolves and vampires go after the zombies. Or should the zombies go after the warewolves and vampires. Then the aliens and predators can clean up the resulting mess.

These questions are way too profound for a simple old woodworker. I think I will just keep a lot of MDF dust sprinkled around the outside of my shop. I heard that zombies won't cross it.

                      Steve.

I don't do much with MDF, will chipboard and melamine dust work as well? I'm not afraid of zombies but they might start stealing my tape measures.

I'm told that any composite material will work to some extent because of the glue used. Not good for humans, but even better for zombies, warewolves and vampires. The melamine dust ratchets up the effectiveness a bit.

Fact is that zombies and warewolves can't wear face masks because they can't get a good seal. The vampires' teeth interfere with the mask.

With the price of silver going up, MDF dust is an economical alternative to silver bullets.

                          Stay save, Steve.

So would turning slugs for reloading from MDF work, too?

A shot into the face? Naah. Gotta take off the head, or destroy the brain. Might work if it hit both eyes and took them out. Or can zombies sense prey without eyes?
