How many entries do we have so far?

I hadn't planned on entering as I was donating a prize... I don't have the time to knock anything out at this point as I am working on shop projects, and home fixes... (The weather is starting to warm up, I am rushing to get the attic foil installed...)

As of 6:20 AM today (my time zone) we have 12 members signed up plus 6 more that purchased Silver Patron and are eligible for entry. This does not include any that may have mailed in entries.

This is gonna be tough... I won't be able to even consider entering until this weekend, which is past the deadline...

I don't think late entries would be a problem at all, just have to have the project completed by the deadline to be judged.

Well, I have a project of sorts done, it really stinks, but it is a project that has been on my plate for a LONG time now and I finally got up off my tailbone and got it done. Unfortunately I overdid it with my back again working on this project as well... Will do the whole enter / post photos thing hopefully this evening, I will need to soak in a hot tub for a while and take the meds the Dr. gave me. Then flog myself for not getting help lifting when I KNEW I needed it..

Entry deadline is extended. Project submission is not. Hopefully we will get a few more entries.

I just double checked the first post. Somehow I was thinking the projects had to be submitted by March 31, not April 30...

I actually have time to build something that doesn't stink! Woo Hoo!

Being that you haven't submitted your 'stinky' (your word, not mine ) entry you could do something else. Or maybe make two entries with the appropriate fees.

I have something in specific in mind actually... I just need to get busy is all...

The stinky project still needs to get painted though. It's the long awaited drill press mobile base build. I had the hardware in an old broken plastic tool box I needed to toss out, this gave me the motivation to get off my can and actually do something with it... I have a particular project that has been tickling my fancy for quite a while now, and this will provide encouragement to get it done...

                          How many participants?

Since my update on 3-31 there has been one more Silver Patron who qualifies if he wants to compete. This brings our total to 19 total qualified participants and only 12 the specifically entered with a subscription. I've not even considered a project although I may have to just so there are more posted. Perhaps I'll do a rustic distressed picture frame?

I'm almost done with mine. It has been a pretty fun little project and it's turning out better than I thought of. It has been one of those projects I do when the extra time allows, which isn't much. I also have a lot more wood left over than I thought I would.

I've also just found out the my wife and I are expecting twins in the fall, so other projects are popping up all over, so that when they are here I'll have more "free" time for the kids.
