      Funny. It shut the Dallas area down pretty good. This is the third day the kids' schools, my wife's office, and mine have been closed.

          Is a mini ice age in our future?

          I keep putting this in the proper geologic perspective. None of us has been around longer than a century (OK, Cabinetman may be an exception ). Over the last x years, where x is greater than 100, I'm sure there have been bigger climate extremes than any of us has witnessed.

          Four hundred years ago, it was a lot colder. The Thames River, which runs through London, froze on a regular basis in those days. Maybe the mild weather of the last two decades was an aberration?
