Why I've been quieter than usual lately...

I have had very little time in the shop as of late, and even less online. And for excellent reasons! As many of you know, my brother in law, who was type 1 diabetic and due to the diabetes has suffered the loss of his kidneys has been living with us, and on disability for the last few years. Well on December 20th, he got an early Christmas present, a kidney and pancreas transplant!

Now there are still some wrinkles in his recovery that were expected, but overall things are going very smoothly. We are all looking forward to him being able to return to work after his recovery. We are concerned due to the economy, and the fact he has been out of the game so long, but are confident that good things are in the pipe...

That's great. My FIL is celebrating his fourth year with a new heart, good as ever. Just sewn in sideways.
I have a little blog about my shop

A great reason to focus elsewhere! Give him the time he needs. We all need support at times in one way or another.

I guess that does take priority over shop time and posting. Congrats to you guys, and hope things keep improving.

Well, he's back home, which is good. And working with the doctors to sort out the pressure issues. Aside from that he is doing really well... I may end up getting some shop time tonight, which will most likely be shop cleanup time... It needs that BAD...
