    As trite as it sounds, "He's in a better place now."

    Think of all the good times you all spent with him, right now, that's what's important, it'll help all the family to get qver the shock a bit faster.

        Again, thanks for the thoughts and prayers. It was a small, simple funeral very much in keeping with the way Barney lived his life.

        We got home late last night. I brought most of the furniture home for my youngest son to have. We threw a tarp over the load last night to keep the dew off and have to unload this morning.

        Dale, I was hoping to have time to stop by but it just wasn't in the cards. Don't know when, or if, I will make it to WF again. Wife wants to go to Amarillo to see my oldest brother. we will probably schedule a stop over to visit the cemetary.

            I am so sorry to hear the news. And sorry to take so long to even notice this thread... I am sad to hear that you have lost a friend on this side, but glad to know he knew where he was going... Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...
