    Last bit of British quirks

It's finally time to go home. It's 4:15am and I have a 7:10am flight out of
Manchester to Heathrow and then USofA.

I turned on the "tele" and they have an informercial running for "Bricky". This
seems like a uniquely British thing but it seems like people in the states might
    like it, too.

While the idea itself is clever enough, it doesn't seem to be very hard to duplicate?
You could probably do it in wood, but to deal with the 'sticking factor', maybe uhmw?

does look easy enough to copy... 15mm = 5/8", close enough.
I don't think sticking would be much of an issue with wood, maybe longeveity...
      Maybe wax is your friend...
