Don't watch this video if you get motion sick and don't watch it while eating
        lunch. Uggg.

Major props to those guys. Is it me, or are there times where he unclips his
tether and is not attached to the tower? Even if you were tethered, I'd
imagine if you fell, your chances of being impaled on one of those ladder rungs
        is pretty high.

That is not the job for me!

They should wear parachute/flying squirrel wings and just jump when they're done.

The climb up the ladder I would pass on but I sure would like to take that elevator ride!

Heights don't bother me at all, but those hand rungs look like they could just snap right off.

my favorite part is where the narrator says, "once you reach the top of the tower itself, it's time to go outside...", and i'm thinking, "gonna do what!!!!!"

Man, oh man! I like heights, but that video made parts of my anatomy try to climb up into my throat. Makes me glad I'm relatively safe and warm inside a classroom full of teenagers.

And why the heck don't they leave the 30 lb. set of tools at the top instead of having to carry it there each time? Somebody going to steal it?

hen I posted that I thought back to my radio days. I had to replace a clearance light one third of the way up our 100-foot tower. You know how hard it is to get anything one when every digit and orifice is clamped tight?

I can't imagine how sore their hands/feet and shoulders/legs must be after going up and down.

With my luck, I'd drop a tool from the top.

My youngest worked as a tower dog on cell towers. He's planning to go back to climbing in January. Good money if you don't mind living on the road and spending your days at 200' up. I think his highest climb was around 400'.

Not sure he would even want to try that climb....
