Bail set at $1 million each for Arizona escapee, alleged accomplice

What I want to know is how prison escapees are eligible for bail???
I mean, are they not to be returned directly to jail but must be convicted of jail break??? I would think, no bail for prison escapees because they are a proven flight risk.

It's often difficult for a judge to justify setting "no bail". As a practical matter, setting bail at $1M might as well be "no bail" - it's unlikely they will be able to come up with the $1M and, given the prior escape, bondsmen probably will not front them the money (even if they could afford the fees).

You haven't figured out yet that logic and the American Justice System are like oil and water?

I thought it was a legal technicality due to being caught in another state. (awaiting extradition, and otherwise must post the ENTIRE bond in cash, by himself, with accurate information)

yeah Speaking of oil and water, I seem to recall there was a govt report said that 5 millions barrels of logic was accidentally released into the justice system by a faulty bail bondsman but not to worry, they collected 5% by skimming and 75% of the logic simply disappeared. the remaining 20 percent logic was still there but posed no threat to the justice system since it was finely dispersed in microscopic amounts. Logic poses no threat to anything caught in the justice system; you can consume it without fear.

Or am i confused with some other recent events?

(any resemblance to political satire is purely coincidental).

Actually the missing 75% was converted into fuzzy logic and was immediately absorbed by the religious, political and baseball statistics systems (i.e., Clementized).
