Tool Sale - What are you getting?

So with all these tool sales going on I'm curious as to what everyone is getting?

I haven't bought much yet. Will probably go through all the deals tonight. So far I've only bought a couple of bits for my Dovetail jig. But I'll probably get some parallel clamps from Peach Tree and a good reliable square.

I caved at Lee Valley and bought a Medium shoulder plane. I selected the 36" Aluminum straight edge and changed it to the 50" at the last minute. I'm going for a shark guard too. I realize that the micro jig splitter really isn't enough. Everyone's comments on the dust collection benefits of the Shark Guard put me over the edge on that one.

Good move on the 50". I was very tempted to get the 38" as well since it was half the price. But I figured to get a really good reading on my TS and jointer I would need the extra length. Man, I'm sure glad I did. I initially used a level since it was the longest straight edge I had before I got the 50" Veritas I found my TS wings were low .017 on one side and high .012 on the other. Now I just need to make a case for it so I can keep it from getting damaged but still get easy access to it. I've been using the tube that it was delivered in to store it.

Sharkguard looks very tempting as well and if I didn't get an Excalibur guard a little while ago I'd probably be getting one as well. I'm using the MJ splitter and it works well for me but the real downside is doing beveled cuts. I have to use my stock splitter/guard.

Not sure I'm getting anything soon. ..

I kinda blew my wad back in April/May, when I brought a container of building supplies to Japan. Along with the building materials was a Makita 12" sliding compound miter saw, a Makita circ saw, a Pacific Tools siding nipper, a HF flooring nailer/stapler, a Makita siding nailer, . . . --and a hammer.

But if I could swing it, I'd definitely be getting a Fein Multi-Master. I only wish I'd known about them back in April, cause I'd have certainly bought one then if I had . It looks like the ideal tool for many of the renovation tasks I've got to do this year.
