we saw this movie last night.
had a very good time. Not the greatest movie but the tonue-in-cheek performance was all you would expect from Diaz and Cruise, the movie moved along well with a combination of action and comedy and a touch of romance. A real body count stacked up as the evercool Cruise a highly skilled FBI agent accidentally involved a naive diaz in a plot protecting (or stealing) a perpetual energy source. But the body count was incidental, just a prop. Never sure who to believe. Some critic called it a unmarried True Lies.
Like when they're on the plane, she goes to the lavatory to work up the nerve to kiss him and the director cuts back and forth between her battle and the one in the cabin where cruise is killing all the bad guys including the pilots. He's still a bit tizzy while she comes out and misses all the dead bodies and goes up to kiss him while he's just a bit still distracted.
Anyway, if you like that kind of movie, go see it.
