I have been testing it today and it is faster than FF. Haven't run into anything I couldn't do yet. I am still getting used to the tabs being above the favorites bar and not having the standard Windows menus is a bit unnerving. Other than that, it seems to be pretty solid.

I've been using FF, and my wife uses IE8. FF seems to be very slow compared to IE8.

Having the tabs above the favorites bar is really getting annoying for various reasons. Anybody found a way to move it? Searching online I don't see a way. I might have to go back to Firefox.David

I got frustrates with FF a few weeks ago and switched to Chrome. Naturally since I am male, I don't read the manual until I have broken the item. Clicking around has revealed the stuff I need. Pretty straight forward.regards,

FF slows down a bit if you have installed a number of add-ons. You may want to go through them and see what is not necessary and disable it. After a bit if you find you don't need something then delete it.
I am setting up a new XP machine, think I'll give Chrome a try on it.

Back to FF. Found two things I don't like about Chrome. First is, having problems printing - it is not formatting pages correctly and I don't get the web page sized to the paper. Second is, he tab bar is up at the top of the window with no option to move it below the address bar. At home I use the desktop to remote into the work laptop. This gives me full keyboard and mouse for work. The menu for the remote session covers most of the tab bar in Chrome.David

Chrome has no print selection, and also has an issue where a printer friendly page that opens, gets sent to the printer, blank, before the page fully loads.She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.Comment

I downloaded Chrome to try it out. Couldn't tell if it was faster than FF. I didn't like the tabs, as they aren't as easy to work as in FF. I have since uninstalled Chrome.

Same version you have.
In the upper right there is the paper icon next to the wrench. Click the paper, there is an option to print. I can't print selections either, but you can get around that by coping what you want into a text editor or other doc and printing from there. OTOH, that is a pretty basic function that Chrome should have already.
Regarding remote desktop, I don't want to hide the remote desktop controls. It helps me remember what machine I am working from.
I have them all looking more or less the same.
