    Harbor Freight web site change

Harbor Freight updated/upgraded their web site. I like it.

    www.harborfreight.com

(HFUSA has not updated theirs yet.)

It's about time. I like it too. Easier on the eyes. Thanks for the heads up.

+1. The old site was very dated, this is a quantum leap forward.

        +2 for the new look.

More updated look and seems to be easy to navigate.

A major improvement. Interesting. The new site has a "Store Locator" function (which at present is broken). I don't recall the old site having this. If it's new, I wonder if they are going to somehow combine the internet and B&M operations.

I'd love to see it, but I can't get it to load! Hopefully it's just temporary...

On the old site, the store locater was there. I frequently used it to remember the stores phone number.

It works fine for me. I like it. Does this mean they will be selling higher quality tools?

It does seem more to today's tastes, finally!

Somebody remind me : what's the difference between the HF and HFUSA sites?

HFUSA is supposed to be online ordering only, where HF can also have the stuff in the store. I don't think I have that backwards.

No, you DO have it backwards. HF-sans-USA is for online ordering. HFUSA has no online ordering but does allow you to compile a shopping list that you can print and take to a store. The Store Locator is there, too.

Very welcome change to the site. It certainly does load slower, but that might be just from all the traffic checking out the new site.

The HF-USA doesn't list prices for most of the items either.

                          Nope, just slicker packaging

I got to the front page and then an error message that said it's under maintenance and try later.

The "retail", B&M site does not have prices, other than on the sales fliers. I always check the "internet only" site for their price (they show prices) prior to going in to the B&M location. I didn't think the "internet only" site had retail locations but apparently they did. Seems counter-productive to me.
