    Airport Security

Subject: Perfect Solution for Airport Security & Full Body Scanners

An engineer (ex-NASA project director) has
the near perfect solution for airport security!

A solution to all the controversy over full-body
scanners at the airports. Have a booth that you can step into
that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device
    you may have on you.

It may be a win-win for everyone, and there would be no
profiling and this method would eliminate a long
and expensive trial. Justice would be quick and swift.

yeah right. the way they detonate unexploded IEDs and captured munitions in Iraq is to put a small charge of C4 (plastic explosive) on the munitions and detonate the C4 which in turn sets off the munitions.

Your approach will also reduce airport crowding and those long lines at security.

And it would eliminate that guy next to you on the plane with the gas problem.

Sorry honey, no cabbage tonight, I have a flight tomorrow.....

That is a great idea - if they could detonate explosives remotely. Although I'm surprised no one has smuggled the chemicals for a bomb on board and mixed them on the plane yet.

A combination of chemicals would probably get detected with the bottle limitations. C-4, blasting caps, lighters, matches...etc easy finds.

Anybody here volunteering to clean up the booth after the blast?

This could give a whole new meaning to that show 'the world's dirtiest jobs'.

That's exactly what the Christmas bomber did!

Someone did over in Europe but they f^*ed up and it fizzled. That's why we now have the restrictions on bottles and tubes in carry ons.

                  Sounds like employment opportunity.

That's easy. You just have the "Shoe Bomber" and that guy from Christmas do it.

A Fire hose and a big floor drain, no problem.

And away goes trouble down the drain.
