I have been extremely upset this week, a Lifetime friend of Mine passed away Tuesday at

the VA Hospital in Memphis. He was eaten up with Cancer (Agent Orange) The VA for Years

had denied His requests. They finally admitted 3 years ago that He had been "boots on

the ground" and gave Him back pay and benefits. You see My friend was a Marine, who had

served 4 tours in Vietnam, 3 for Himself and 1 for His Brother. I saw Him as I was

departing for My final trip Home and He was making His 1st trip into Vietnam. We passed

each other and spoke and I wished Him well. I wished Him "Semper Fi" today as I saluted

Him, from an old Air Force Guy, Rest Jackie Rest. Bill

I thank you both for your service to us all. May God hear him coming and welcome him home now.

          Bill,

At least he made it back to the world, but it sucks that he died from "friendly fire".

Even though he was a Jar Head, Semper Fi and RIP Jackie, you're in a better place now along with a great bunch of guys, including mine, who I just couldn't bring home with me.

I have felt this pain way too many times,

Semper Fi, Jackie! Enjoy your place in Heaven, you spent more than your share of time in ****.
